Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Controller to join the Allied Universal team, working for a high-profile corporate client in London. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in security operations, access control, and CCTV monitoring.

As a Security Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring the access control and CCTV systems, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals on-site. You will coordinate and escalate responses to incidents, proactively uphold site regulations, and support overall security operations.

Key Details
  • Hours: 42 hours per week
  • Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotation - Day Shifts (flexibility required for night shifts when operationally needed)
  • Location: London
  • Pay rate: £ (please specify)
  • Required: Valid SIA CCTV License
Responsibilities
  1. CCTV & Access Control Monitoring - Operate and monitor all CCTV and access control systems, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and GDPR regulations.
  2. Incident Response & Coordination - Deploy and coordinate security staff in response to incidents, gather evidence, conduct risk assessments, and inform key personnel.
  3. Health & Safety Compliance - Uphold site rules, regulations, and safety standards, adhering to relevant legislation.
  4. Fire System Monitoring - Monitor fire systems, respond to alarms, and log incidents.
  5. Control Room Equipment Maintenance - Regularly check CCTV and control room equipment for full operational status.
  6. Access & Key Control - Issue radios, passes, and keys, maintaining accurate logs.
  7. Safety & Emergency Checks - Perform checks on emergency systems and report faults.
  8. Incident Investigation Support - Assist investigations using CCTV footage and provide reports.
  9. Record-Keeping & Handover - Keep detailed incident records and ensure proper handovers.
  10. Out-of-Hours Access Control - Manage site access during non-operational hours.
  11. Support to Security Management - Assist the management team as needed.
