The opportunity
Join us at Hitachi Energy as a Control & Protection Software Design Engineer (with 1-4 years experience) and be part of a team dedicated to revolutionizing energy transmission with HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology.
Please note this position if of a hybrid nature (2/3 days working out of our central Glasgow office). Please also note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

How you’ll make an impact
Design, maintain, test, integrate, verify, and deploy HVDC control & protection application functions.
Document processes and conduct customer training.
Travel internationally for assignments.
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical area.
Experience with HVDC projects and control system design/testing.
Strong interest in industrial application development and programming.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in digital technology, signal processing, control system design, and power system industry.
