Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrical Control Panel Wiring Technician in Bishop's Stortford. The role involves assembling and wiring control panels, interpreting drawings, and bench testing assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification and hands-on control panel wiring experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build electrical control panels according to drawings and documentation.
• Wire control panels in line with wiring schematics and build drawings.
• Bench test completed panels and record results, rectifying faults as needed.
• Wire skid-mounted equipment including valves, pumps, heaters and instrumentation.
• Install pneumatic equipment to specification and standards.
• Terminate cabling and pneumatic lines neatly inside panels.
• Carry out in-house PAT testing following safety procedures.
• Manage electrical stock levels and report low stock for replenishment.
• Support re-assembly of systems on customer sites ensuring safe installation.
