Monday to Friday Days Role – Based between Ashby and Burton

Established in 2009, this company have grown and evolved from a specialist controls systems integrator to be able to offer a full, turnkey solution for their clients, including the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of bespoke control panels and software solutions.

Specialising in the process, materials handling, and bespoke special purpose machinery sectors they have established relationships with some of the largest and fastest growing companies in the midlands.With projects and work continuing to increase, we are looking for a control panel wireman to aid the growth of the business.

Requirements

What the Role Will Involve:

  • Working from schematics and engineering drawings, you will be building control panels of varying sizes and complexities from the ground up.
  • This will involve drilling, tapping, and installing components on to the back plates and din rails.
  • Working from line diagrams you will then be wiring the control panels.
  • You will also be responsible for labelling the wires, and making any notes for ECR’s / drawing changes – to reflect their as built status.

What we are Looking in a Candidate:

  • Experience as a control panel wirer in a manufacturing / machinery / process environment.
  • You must be able to read, and work from engineering drawings.
  • Good communication skills, and flexible – this could include helping to deliver panels to clients once they have been completed.
  • Salaries up to £34k if you have testing and / or site installation experience.

What we can offer the successful candidate:

  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates – time and a half (x1.5) for all hours worked over 40 hours, and time and three quarters (x1.75) for any hours worked over
  • Excellent rates of pay, enhanced overtime rates and 20days holiday a year (including Bank Holidays).
  • Holidays rise by one per year up to a maximum of 25.
  • Training and development – we can train you how to test panels, and how to install and commission panels on clients sites.
