Job summary

The Best Connection Group Ltd in Dudley is seeking an experienced Control Panel Wireman to wire and assemble electrical control panels from engineering drawings, install relays, PLCs, switches and terminals, and test panels to ensure quality and compliance. You will read wiring diagrams, fault-find, and work with hand and power tools in a clean, safe environment.

Electrical qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

Qualifications

Wiring and assembling electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics.
Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
Testing completed control panels to ensure quality and compliance standards.
Fault finding and rectifying wiring issues where required.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Wiring and assembling electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics.
Installing and connecting electrical components including relays, contactors, PLCs, switches and terminals.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Testing completed control panels to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
Fault finding and rectifying wiring issues where required.
