The Opportunity

Our client is a leading engineering and maintenance provider supporting customers in the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage markets. They are seeking an experienced Control Panel/Equipment Test Engineer to enhance asset efficiency, ensure high availability, and reduce maintenance costs.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
  1. Inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation panels/systems both in-house and on-site as required.
  2. Ensuring all work is completed to specifications and deadlines.
  3. Liaising with customers on-site to ensure successful completion of work.
  4. Assisting in building and wiring control panels when needed.
  5. Attending sites to modify existing or new panels as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection.
  • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition.
  • Time-served electrician/instrument technician.
  • Experience testing industrial control panels, on-site installation, commissioning, instrumentation, and wiring.
  • Small bore pipe pressure testing.
  • Knowledge of 3-phase systems, MCC control panels, PLC systems, and schematic drawings.
