Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Work as part of the Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure safe and efficient production performance within the framework of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People & Environment.
2. Manage equipment design and implementation through commissioning, ensuring compliance with customer control standards.
3. Oversee installation and commissioning of equipment; ensure all control-related documentation, such as Machine Acceptance Checklists, are updated. Provide technical expertise to the team and vendors on control design and standards, and suggest solutions to vendors.
4. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures by achieving safety metrics, identifying hazards and risks, implementing corrective actions, and providing appropriate training to the team.

What You’ll Need

• Technical skills in controls and electrical automotive engineering gained in manufacturing.
• Experience with Powertrain or relevant automotive systems.
• Knowledge and experience with controls technologies such as Robotics, PLCs, Control Systems, Vision Systems, and Safety Systems.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience applying a logical approach to problem solving.
