Overview

Vacancy Detail. View vacancy list. Contracts Supervisor (Void&Electric). Contract Supervisor (Void & Electrical). Opportunity to join a West Midlands based housing provider as a Void & Electrical Contract Supervisor.

This is a working supervisor role, with a 50/50 split as a Trades based Operative and Site Supervision. Candidates will require an electrical background, working on domestic properties.

Responsibilities

• Act as a working supervisor with a 50/50 split between trades operative duties and site supervision.
• Lead and manage a building maintenance team with hands-on involvement.
• Work on domestic properties and apply electrical expertise as the base trade, with additional skills in Carpentry and Plumbing as needed.
• Ensure health and safety, fire safety, and CDM regulations are followed.
• Direct and motivate employees using a hands-on management style; plan and prioritise a varied workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Utilise computer packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and job management systems to track works and reports.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ City & Guilds in the Electrical trade.
• Additional trade related training such as 18th Edition wiring regs, 2391 Inspection and Testing of installations.
• Ability to demonstrate numeracy and literacy equivalent to Grade C English and Maths GCSE.
• Full UK Driving License.
