VANRATH are recruiting a Contracts Supervisor to work for a large, leading Construction Company that specialise in Social Housing maintenance projects, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Remuneration:
£38,000 - £39,000 + van / fuel card / excellent benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of voids, ensuring that all activities are completed to the required standards of quality and compliance with safety regulations
  • Coordinate and manage the allocation of labour, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Work closely with the planning and scheduling teams to optimize resource utilisation
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, residents, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by operatives and subcontractors, conducting inspections and ensuring that all work complies with company standards and client specifications
  • Monitor project costs and assist in managing budgets, ensuring that work is completed within financial constraints

The Ideal Person:

  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade, construction management or related field
  • Track record working in the Social Housing or other maintenance sectors
  • Experience in a Supervisory role within repairs and maintenance or other construction sector
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Strong relationship builder and interpersonal skills able to liaise effectively with clients, operatives and sub-contractors
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficient in basic IT skills including the use of project management software
  • CSR Card
  • SSSTS Qualification
  • Current and valid UK driving licence
