The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of complex engineering projects. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure all technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering projects from tender through to commissioning and handover
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all project phases
  • Handle all commercial aspects of contracts, including change control and negotiations
  • Conduct and facilitate risk assessments and implement project controls
  • Maintain strong client engagement and support tender development

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in process engineering
  • Minimum 3 years in a project or contracts management role
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Experience in plant/process commissioning
  • Strong background in engineering procurement and commercial negotiation

Essential Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-value projects under pressure
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and project planning techniques
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required

Reports to: Operations Director

Manages: Design Engineers, Sub-contractors
