Job description

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in North-West London. They are seeking a contracts and procurement locum lawyer for an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend.

Please note this is a full-time role and will require hybrid attendance in North-West London.

You will handle a caseload of commercial contracts and procurement matters, advising on EU procurement, competition, tendering, contractual disputes and negotiations. Previous local government experience is essential.

To apply you will be:

• An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with minimum 2 years’ PQE Able to demonstrate previous experience of advising on commercial contracts and procurement within a local government environment Able to attend the office in North-West London on a hybrid basis Available on no more than a 4-week notice period

The salary for this role is £35-£55/hour umbrella.
