Job summary

University of Cambridge is seeking a Contracts & Portfolio Manager for the UK Hub for Predictive and AI-Enabled Human Disease Models. The role will oversee the Hub's portfolio of collaboration and project agreements, negotiating research funding, collaboration, confidentiality, MTAs and software licenses.

You will protect publication rights and IP, advise on costing, and support project delivery with cross‑organisational collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating research contracts in university or research settings.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide contractual leadership for the UK Hub portfolio and negotiate a range of agreements.
• Advise on costing, pricing, and risk assessments; liaise with Cambridge Enterprise on IP matters.
• Support delivery of Hub projects through stakeholder coordination and effective project management.
• Ensure terms protect publication rights and protect the University's interests.
