The University of Cambridge invites applications for a Contracts Manager in the Research Office. You will negotiate agreements ranging from material transfers to multi-party collaborations with sponsors from Research Councils, charities, the EC and industry.

You will need a degree level qualification (or equivalent) and experience drafting and negotiating research contracts, ideally in a university or research setting. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Formación

• Experience drafting and negotiating research contracts.
• Background in legal or scientific environments is advantageous.
• Experience in a university or research-intensive organisation is preferred.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate agreements covering material transfers to multi-party collaborations.
• Safeguard researchers' and the University's interests in terms and IP rights.
• Liaise with researchers to ensure agreements fit the research context.
• Assess risks and draft terms to facilitate partnerships.
