Job summary

Upfront Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead roofing and cladding projects across South Wales, Bristol and nearby areas. The role is full-time, permanent, with hybrid working, one to two days in Bridgend office and remainder on site or at home.

Salary £50,000-£60,000 per annum plus car allowance or company vehicle, private health insurance, death in service and generous holidays. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate site teams, monitor budgets and ensure safety and quality

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager in roofing, cladding or construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing and exterior envelope systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple live roofing and cladding projects simultaneously.
• Planning programmes and coordinating project delivery from start to finish.
• Managing site managers, supervisors, subcontractors and directly employed teams.

About the Role

As a Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple roofing and cladding projects across South Wales, Bristol and the surrounding areas. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, commercial staff and senior management, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Projects will include a wide variety of commercial and industrial roofing and building envelope packages, including flat roofing systems, pitched roofing, metal roofing, composite cladding, rainscreen cladding, overcladding, roof refurbishment and replacement schemes, rooflight installations, roof access systems and associated external envelope works across occupied buildings and live construction sites.

The successful candidate will have:

• Sound commercial awareness and contract management experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
• A full UK driving licence.
