Role

We\'re seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in flat roofing to join a well-established roofing contractor based in Colchester. This is a key role overseeing multiple projects across the South East, ensuring each job is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple flat roofing projects from tender to completion.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and inspections.
• Prepare and review RAMS, toolbox talks, and ensure site compliance.
• Control budgets, scheduling, and material procurement.
• Deliver projects to high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within flat roofing (essential).
• Strong knowledge of systems such as bituminous, liquid, or single-ply membranes.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• SSSTS / SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant NVQ qualifications desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
