Contracts Manager

Up to 85k + car allowance & Package

West Midlands

Regional Main Contractor

Contract Values - 5m- 25m

Due to several new projects won, this established regional contractor is growing, and they require another Contracts Manager to join the team in the West Midlands office to oversee up to 3 construction projects in the Midlands area.

The company

My client has a turnover of 200 million. They are well known and respected in the industry for their high-quality services and attention to detail.

The types of work this contractor mainly covers are in Leisure, student accommodation, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors.

The Contract Manager Role

  • Oversee Project Managers responsible for operational management of various new build & refurbishment projects valued up to 25m.
  • Take ownership of Health & Safety and Environmental responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the pre-construction team on SHE, buildability, programme issues, and review design information from consultants and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the Site Management team on each site to ensure smooth operations - effective communication is essential.
  • Manage projects in line with financial and production targets and reports.
  • Maintain key client-facing responsibilities.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will be an excellent people manager with a hands-on style, able to interact well with others. You should come from a main contractor background, ideally have experience with framework projects, and demonstrate senior management experience.

Benefits

Opportunity to earn up to 85k basic salary per year, with pay reviews every 6 months. The package includes a car/car allowance, private healthcare, and access to the company pension scheme.
