Contracts Manager (Regional)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our growing building services team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to oversee a portfolio of clients based in London and South East England. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, organized, and responsible for their contracts, with a focus on building lasting relationships.

Main Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of a portfolio of contracts, including mobilisation, routine PPM works, reviewing reports and quotes for additional works.
2. Organize and monitor subcontractors.
3. Retain and grow the client portfolio to meet profit margin targets.
4. Communicate regularly and effectively with clients to maintain and develop relationships.
5. Manage documentation, including progress meetings and site visits.
6. Ensure compliance with H&S policies and procedures.
7. Manage a team of engineers, setting objectives, and developing their skills.
8. Delegate work effectively and introduce engineers to new sites, clients, and procedures.
9. Collaborate with support functions to create a successful working environment.
10. Assist with recruitment, induction, and onboarding of engineers and team members.

Person Specification

This role is based in our head office in Slough, with regular travel to client sites in London and South England. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, always prioritizing client satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Sound knowledge of building services and mechanical plant.
• Valid driving license.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Trained in Health and Safety.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing building services maintenance contracts.
• Experience leading teams and maintaining client relationships.
