Ipsum Power (OHL) Ltd. in Livingston is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the Capital Programme delivery for the electricity network. You will set project standards, drive safety, and manage day-to-day delivery to meet time, cost and quality targets.

The role requires an engineering/management degree, practical contract management experience, and familiarity with NEC contracts and EHV networks. You will coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to maximise performance and

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business or Project management.
• Practical contract management experience.
• Experience on EHV power distribution projects.
• Experience with activities like excavation, cable work, pole line construction.
• Knowledge of how DNO networks operate.
• NEC contract awareness.
• Health and safety knowledge and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is delivered safely with effective safety leadership.
• Hold regular H&S meetings and deliver safety information.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety tours.
• Ensure work meets required standards and ITPs.
• Identify training needs with HR and National OHL Director.
• Coordinate with client and staff to complete works on time and within budget.
• Lead monthly team meetings and cascade information to the project delivery team.
• Carry out regular appraisals of direct staff.
• Drive profit while managing direct and indirect costs.
• Support recruitment in line with Ipsum policy and business model.
• Submit weekly/monthly reports to National OHL Director detailing performance and risks.
• Schedule resources and ensure booking forms are completed.
