Ivy Resource Group is currently seeking a Contracts Manager for a leading Painting & Decorating Contractor, to join their team on a permanent basis in Oxford.

About the Company:

Our client collaborates with many of the leading new build housing developers across the South East and West of England. They have recently secured several large contracts in Oxfordshire and are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to deliver these projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage multiple painting and decorating contracts on new build housing sites.
2. Coordinate with site managers, main contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Oversee labour resources, ensuring adequate workforce and performance standards.
4. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
5. Monitor progress and prepare reports for senior management and clients.
6. Ensure health and safety compliance across all sites.
7. Attend site meetings and resolve on-site issues promptly.
8. Manage materials ordering and delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Site Manager in the painting and decorating or broader construction industry.
• Strong understanding of the new build housing sector.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Full UK driving license.
• CSCS card (Black/Gold card) - desirable.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.

Benefits & Salary:

• £52,000 per year.
