Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is recruiting a Contracts Manager based in Bradford with UK-wide travel. You will oversee mechanical building services projects from order receipt through to handover, ensuring safety, programme, budget and quality targets are met.

You'll lead client, subcontractor and internal teams, manage project finances, variations and site progress, and act as the primary point of contact throughout delivery. A strong background in M&E, HVAC or plumbing installations is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Contracts Manager or Project Manager in mechanical building services.
• Strong background in M&E, HVAC, ventilation or plumbing installations.
• Experience managing budgets, costs and variations.
• Excellent organisational and programme-management skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Managing HVAC, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing installation projects.
• Reviewing project specifications, scope of works and contractual requirements.
• Planning and coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials and project resources.
• Carrying out site surveys and providing accurate information for working drawings.
• Monitoring project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Attending pre-start meetings, progress meetings and client reviews.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and overall commercial performance.
• Identifying, pricing and managing project variations.
