Ashbrittle Recruitment is partnering with a well-established main contractor in Stevenage to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to deliver refurbishment, fit-out, industrial, commercial and education projects across the South East.

You will manage multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, oversee programme, quality, health and safety, and work with site teams, clients and subcontractors.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager with a main contractor
• Experience in refurbishment, fit-out, commercial, industrial or education projects
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, programmes and contract management
• Excellent client and subcontractor management skills
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to lead project teams and drive projects through to successful completion
• A proactive and commercially minded approach

Responsabilidades

• Managing multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Overall responsibility for programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance
• Managing and supporting Project Managers and site teams
• Reviewing project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved
• Managing client and consultant relationships
• Overseeing subcontractors and supply chain performance
• Attending progress meetings and providing regular project updates
• Monitoring project costs and working closely with the commercial team
• Managing variations, contractual issues and potential risks
• Ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality standards
• Assisting with the successful handover and completion of projects
