Overview

Contracts Manager - Groundworks

Location: Offices in Northamptonshire / Leicestershire (travel to sites as required). Salary: £65,000 to £85,000 (DOE) + van + fuel card + benefits. Immediate start available for the right person.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager in groundworks to join a successful and growing civil engineering business. You will oversee multiple sites, enjoy autonomy, a supportive team, and strong job security within a company expanding rapidly with a turnover expected to rise by £2 million next year.

About the Company

This established groundworks specialist operates from offices in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, running 6-7 active sites at any time and employing around 50 skilled staff. With over 30 years of combined experience, the company delivers high-quality groundworks across commercial, residential and retail sectors.

They pride themselves on safety, quality, efficiency and reliability. All staff are trained to industry standards (CSCS, CPCS, SSSTS, SMSTS, NPORS) and the company maintains a strong reputation with major nationwide developers.

The Role - Contracts Manager Groundworks

You will take charge of multiple groundworks projects from start to finish, managing teams, budgets and client expectations while ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time and to specification. You will spend part of the week visiting sites and the rest in the office, ensuring smooth delivery and communication across all projects.

Key Responsibilities
