Job summary

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of NHS contracts within the Black Country Integrated Care Board framework. You will support the Senior Contracts Manager and the Commissioning Team by negotiating, implementing and managing contracts across the commissioning cycle.

You will analyse performance data, manage risks, provide specialist contractual guidance, keep accurate records and engage with providers and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Understanding of NHS contracting processes and the NHS Standard Contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage an agreed portfolio of contracts on behalf of the ICB.
• Support negotiation, planning, development and implementation of contracts across the commissioning cycle.
• Undertake regular contract review and performance management, monitor actions and risks.
• Coordinate with the Senior Contracts Manager and Commissioning Team as required.
• Plan, manage and deliver contracting tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate contract records, registers and documentation.
• Prepare agendas and supporting information for meetings; present analyses.
• Provide timely specialist advice on contractual matters and guidance.
