The Company:
They are an East Midlands based contractor specializing in New Build, Fit Out, and Refurbishment in commercial and industrial sectors, both private and public. Due to growth, they are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to oversee commercial fit-out projects nationwide, based out of the Leicester office.

The Role:
They seek an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in fit-out and refurbishment construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage projects both commercially and operationally, working alongside an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The successful candidate will manage up to 3 contracts simultaneously, with project values ranging from £500k to £5m. Responsibilities include:

1. Overseeing Site Managers responsible for operational management of commercial fit-out projects up to £5m.
2. Taking ownership of Health & Safety and Environmental responsibilities.
3. Collaborating with the pre-construction team on SHE, buildability, programme issues, and reviewing design information from consultants and suppliers.
4. Working closely with the Site Management team to ensure smooth project execution; effective communication is essential.
5. Managing projects in line with financial and production targets and reporting on progress.
6. Maintaining key client relationships and responsibilities.

What We're Looking For:
An excellent people manager with a hands-on approach, capable of interacting well with others. Candidates should have a background in fit-out construction, ideally with experience on fast-track commercial projects. Demonstrated senior management experience and flexibility to travel are required.
