Contracts Manager – Fire Doors

Location: Close to Romford, Essex - You will need to be a car driver due to location.

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a leading passive fire protection company based close to Romford. Specialising in fire door installations, this role offers the chance to work with high-profile clients across healthcare, education, and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage fire door installation contracts from order receipt to client handover.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Prepare RAMS and site-specific safety documentation.
  • Conduct site visits for pricing, progress checks, and quality audits.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Handle quotations and pricing for new enquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and installation standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in contract management within construction or fire protection.
  • Strong understanding of fire door regulations and installation practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • Experience producing health & safety documentation.
  • Only candidates with qualifications including; BM Trada, Firas, BRE, IFE, FDIS, or FPA (certificate level or above, not Award level) and management qualifications with a minimum of RQF level 3). will be considered for this role
Desirable
  • Background in passive fire protection or fire door installation.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Relevant safety certifications (e.g. First Aid).
