Job summary

Thales is seeking a Contracts Manager in Crawley to own a diverse portfolio of high-value contracts and bids, from capture and proposal development through to delivery and closure. You will work with the UK Ministry of Defence, leading UK prime contractors and international partners, guiding multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract management across pre-award and post-award phases.
• Excellent attention to detail identifying contractual, commercial and compliance issues.
• Strong commercial awareness including risk management, liability assessment and pricing.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to influence stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, self-starting approach with ownership and delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of contracts and bids throughout the full lifecycle from capture to closure.
• Establish and maintain strong customer commercial relationships across capture, bid and delivery activities.
• Draft, review, assess and negotiate contracts, proposals, quotations, amendments, orders and terms and conditions.
• Own contractual baselines and change management, ensuring compliance and providing commercial guidance.
• Identify, assess and manage commercial risk, including pricing and liability, across teams.
