Are you an aspiring construction professional looking for that next step Perhaps making that step from mainly site-based work Looking for a varied position in an Owner Managed Business with plenty of autonomy That special kind of person looking to make a difference in a business not just a role

You will have solid construction experience, maybe site served from trades or other route.

Our client is a well-known Plymouth brand with its roots in M&E looking to fill this brand-new role. Giving support to the MD in this growing business with its ambitious growth plans. You will work in a close-knit small team in a familial environment. Core focus will be delivery, but you will be supporting the broader team and functions as required.

This is a customer-facing role so being at ease in these settings and a willingness to get involved in the business community is a must.

Typical responsibilities:

  • Contract negotiation and drafting with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders;
  • Monitoring delivery of contracts;
  • Compliance and risk management;
  • Job monitoring and reporting;
  • Client and stakeholder liaison;
  • Site and subcontractor supervision and problem solving;
  • Surveying new sites and meeting prospects;
  • Assistance with tendering and estimating;
