We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contracts Manager to join our Swindon operations team. You will oversee construction projects, lead project teams, communicate business and project objectives, and ensure adherence to company procedures.

Job Purpose

To manage construction projects with the goal of profitable, timely, and high-quality delivery, leading project teams and ensuring procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce high safety and environmental standards.
• Build rapport with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
• Plan project aspects, identify challenges, and propose solutions.
• Manage project schedules and develop tracking systems.
• Oversee design processes and ensure alignment with budget and timelines.
• Promote company values and continuous improvement culture.
• Set goals for team members and support their development.
• Empower managers to make decisions.
• Handle profit and loss responsibilities in collaboration with QS.
• Report delays or disruptions and work on resolutions.

Experience

• At least 3 years as a Contracts Manager or 5 years as a Project Manager.
• Experience in D&B, framework, two-stage, and negotiated contracts. Knowledge of preconstruction and tendering.
