Job Purpose:

To oversee a selection of construction projects, ensuring profitable, timely, and high-quality delivery. The Contracts Manager leads the project team, communicates objectives, and enforces company procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and uphold high safety and environmental standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
• Plan all project aspects, identify challenges, and propose solutions.
• Manage project programmes, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
• Oversee design processes and coordinate with consultants to meet budget and schedule.
• Promote company values and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Set goals and development objectives for team members.
• Empower managers to make appropriate decisions.
• Manage profit and loss, collaborating with QS to meet financial targets.
• Report delays or disruptions and work towards resolution.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years as a Contracts Manager or 5 years as a Project Manager.
• Experience with D&B, framework, two-stage, and negotiated contracts.
• Knowledge of preconstruction processes and tendering.
• Strong commercial acumen and team leadership skills.
• Ability to foster collaboration and develop team members.
