Job summary

Thecoalauthority in Mansfield is seeking a commercially minded Contracts Manager with practical NEC4 PSC/ECC experience to support procurement, delivery and management of environmental and infrastructure projects.

You will draft and review NEC contracts, advise on risk and compensation events, and help maintain robust, value-for-money contracting. Hybrid role with about two days per week in the Mansfield office.

Qualifications

• Experience of drafting, administering or managing NEC contracts, particularly NEC4 PSC or ECC.
• Strong commercial judgement and contract management skills.
• Experience supporting procurement and tender evaluations.
• Ability to explain complex contractual issues clearly to non-commercial colleagues.
• A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills.

You'll work closely with project managers, engineers and technical specialists, providing clear commercial advice and ensuring contracts are robust, compliant and deliver value for money.
