About the job: Contracts Manager - Civils

Contracts Manager - Civil Engineering

With a Head Office based in Redditch, my client has established itself as a major provider of housing infrastructure and civil engineering groundworks in the Midlands region and beyond.

Due to sustained growth, they are looking to recruit 2-3 experienced civil engineering Contracts Managers to work throughout the Midlands, East, and West.

Reporting directly to the Construction Director, the Contract Managers will be client-facing and responsible for the end-to-end delivery of major residential groundwork schemes from tender through to completion.

You will have a strong civil engineering / groundworks background, ideally within residential new build, with experience of working at a similar level.

Other duties will involve:

  1. Monitoring progression on site and day-to-day operations.
  2. Overseeing multiple contracts at various stages.
  3. Labour allocation and control.
  4. Procurement of materials, plant, and equipment.
  5. Monitoring performance against programme and cost plan.
  6. Attending progress meetings with clients.
