The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or groundworks and excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple civil engineering, groundworks and concrete repair projects.
• Overseeing Site Managers and project delivery teams.
• Planning programmes and monitoring project progress.
• Managing project costs alongside the commercial team.
• Maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality standards are achieved.
• Attending client meetings and site progress meetings.
• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Identifying and resolving project risks and operational issues.
• Supporting project planning, resource allocation and successful delivery.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.
• Producing regular progress reports for senior management.
