Job summary

Anglian Recruitment is assisting a growing construction and property services business in East Anglia to recruit a Contracts Manager for projects across Wymondham and the surrounding area. You will oversee multiple construction, refurbishment and maintenance contracts, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and strong commercial performance.

You will lead site managers and subcontractors, manage budgets and programmes, build client relationships, and resolve risks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
• Background delivering commercial refurbishment, maintenance, fit-out or new build projects.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple live projects.
• Good understanding of construction programmes and project planning.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple construction and refurbishment contracts from pre-start through to completion.
• Overseeing Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Monitoring project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
• Ensuring projects comply with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Attending client meetings and site progress meetings.
• Managing project resources, procurement and programme delivery.
• Identifying and resolving project risks and challenges.

Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects across East Anglia. The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of several projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
