Location: West Yorkshire (Nationwide Travel Required)
Salary: 40,000 - 60,000 DOE

About Us

Our client are a well-established commercial and industrial roofing company based in Yorkshire, operating on projects across the UK. Specialising in a wide range of roofing and gutter solutions-including flat roofing, pitched roofing, reactive maintenance, asbestos replacement, gutters, and over-cladding-they are committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and cost-effective services to their clients.



The Role

They are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple roofing contracts from pre-start to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial roofing, excellent project management skills, and a hands-on approach to leading teams and liaising with clients.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple roofing projects across the UK, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Conduct site visits and audits to monitor progress and compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Prepare and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.

  • Provide technical support and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure full compliance with relevant industry standards and internal quality procedures.

  • Oversee reactive maintenance contracts and coordinate timely responses.



Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the roofing industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of flat and pitched roofing systems, asbestos replacement procedures, guttering, and over-cladding.

  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).

  • Relevant qualifications in construction or roofing (desirable but not essential).

  • SMSTS, CSCS
