Are you an experienced Roofing Contracts Manager with a background in social housing and flat roofing projects? We are partnering with a respected and fast-growing social housing contractor who is looking to expand their operational team with a strong, hands-on Contracts Manager to oversee roofing works across London and the South East.

About the Role:

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple roofing contracts - primarily focused on flat roof replacements and repairs within the social housing sector. The role demands someone with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health & safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple roofing contracts from start to finish
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, and liaise closely with clients and housing associations
• Ensure all works are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards
• Manage site documentation, risk assessments, and H&S compliance
• Work closely with the commercial and operations team to ensure smooth delivery of contracts
• Resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the social housing sector
• Strong background in flat roofing (liquid, felt, asphalt, or single ply)
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel across London and the South East
• SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold Card preferred
