A 5-star housing developer is looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live construction sites in South Yorkshire. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Contracts Management and relevant certifications, such as NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management.

  • Strong understanding of contracts management processes.

Job Duties:

  • Overseeing 2-4 live construction sites
  • Managing Site teams and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Reporting progress to senior management

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  • First Aid certification
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
  • Valid driving licence

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Contracts Management within the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Site Management background with housing developer(s)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise in new build housing projects
  • Strong understanding of contracts management processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate site teams

Working Conditions:

  • Expected to work on-site at construction locations in South Yorkshire
  • Full-time hours
