This role combines site leadership with client coordination, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to exacting quality standards. You will work with a skilled operative team and manage documentation, safety, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roofing with flat roofing, mastic asphalt, felt or waterproofing.
• Experience in car park waterproofing or service deck refurbishment is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage roofing and waterproofing contracts from inception through to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site operatives for smooth execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and health and safety compliance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, programmes and site records.
• Resolve issues to keep projects on track and maintain client relations.
• Represent the business professionally on site and support handover and final inspections.

This is a chance to step into a supervisory role with one of the Midlands' most established and respected roofing and waterproofing specialists. The business has been trading since 1968, giving over 55 years of continuous delivery across the UK, with a turnover exceeding £10 million and a skilled team of 30 plus roofing operatives.

Based in Birmingham, the company specialises in mastic asphalt, felt and waterproofing systems for flat roofing, alongside service deck refurbishment, underground car park waterproofing and multi-storey car park surface treatments.

Projects span the education, commercial, public sector and residential markets, with a strong reputation for delivering complex works on live and operational sites.

Accreditations include the National Federation of Roofing Contractors and the Competent Roofer Scheme, and the business is a verified contractor for premium manufacturers including Sika.

This is a hands‑on supervisory role for an experienced roofing professional ready to step into a contracts‑focused position, managing multiple live projects across the UK from a base in Birmingham.

• Previous supervisory or management experience within construction or roofing
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practice on site
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Well organised with strong problem-solving and reporting abilities
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
