Your new role
My client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Contracts Manager to join their team in Cumbria. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Provide effective leadership and management oversight to construction teams.
Ensure timely delivery of build production targets and key stage build programme milestones.
Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety, and customer care across all developments.
Formulate area build strategies, critical path programs, and procurement solutions.
Continuously audit and evaluate site performance, taking appropriate action to ensure standards are met.
Collaborate with the Construction Director and Regional Managing Director to achieve budget and performance KPIs.
Lead by example, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused team culture
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
Ability to formulate and implement effective build strategies and programs.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
