Job summary

Involve Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a successful regional civil engineering contractor in recruiting a Site Agent/Project Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of groundworks, drainage, structures and general civil schemes across West Wales.

You will work closely with site teams, clients and management to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget, taking ownership and driving continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering civil engineering projects.
• Experience running multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects concurrently valued £250k–£2m.
• Plan programmes, resources and project delivery to time and budget.
• Support and develop Site Agents and site teams.
• Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee procurement of labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor budgets, costs, forecasts and overall project performance.
• Identify and manage programme, commercial and operational risks.
• Support valuations and variations and other commercial matters.
• Drive high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental performance.
• Report progress and performance to senior management.

We're working with a successful regional civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across West Wales.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with site teams, clients, subcontractors and senior management to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to budget.

Your role will include:

• Leading multiple projects concurrently, typically valued between £250k and £2m.
• Programming and planning works, resources and project delivery.
• Supporting and developing Site Agents and site-based teams.
• Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
• Overseeing procurement of labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitoring budgets, costs, forecasts and overall project performance.
• Identifying and managing programme, commercial and operational risks.
• Supporting valuations, variations and other commercial matters.
• Driving high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental performance.
• Reporting progress and performance to senior management.
