Job Description

Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced M&E Contracts Manager to join one of the UK’s largest building services maintenance providers, overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial property contracts across the Midlands.

You should have a strong understanding of managing modern, multi-client commercial maintenance contracts from the perspective of a maintenance service provider.

The contracts are already mobilised, with maintenance service teams appointed, including a well-established team of M&E HVAC engineers and supervisors, comprising both static and mobile staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the performance of the Maintenance Service Teams
  • Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met
  • Develop rapport with key client stakeholders through professional engagement
  • Identify additional revenue streams via projects and contract enhancements
  • Produce monthly reports and attend client meetings
  • Maintain a regular site presence
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in Commercial Site Management or Contract Management
  • Background in M&E Facilities Management with a contract management focus
  • Strong client-facing skills
  • Good understanding of P&L management
  • Experience within Electrical or Mechanical systems is advantageous
  • Team builder and motivator
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills

This role involves working closely with the Regional Account Director to develop client relationships, improve efficiency and profitability, and oversee the full P&L of the portfolio. There are financial benefits associated with increasing the division’s profitability.

Additional Details:

  • Salary: Up to £65K, depending on experience
  • Company Car or Car Allowance
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility for remote work as needed
  • Location: Within 40 miles of Northampton
  • Reports to: Business Unit Director
  • Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
