As the Contracts Manager for EHV Cabling, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of EHV cabling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

You will manage all aspects of the contract, from initial planning to final handover, while working closely with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  5. Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  6. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality delivery.
  7. Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry best practices.
  8. Address any issues or challenges that may arise during project execution.
  9. Provide regular project updates to senior management and clients.

You will provide:
  1. Proven experience in managing EHV cabling projects or similar high-voltage infrastructure works.
  2. Experience managing complex sites valued at 250,000 up to 2 million.
  3. Strong knowledge of contract management, with the ability to negotiate and manage terms.
  4. Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  5. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree).
  8. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly in high-voltage environments.
  9. Previous experience working with key stakeholders such as clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  10. Full UK driving license.

This is a hybrid role and depending on where you are in the country, you can be in the office 1 or 2 times per week, or twice in a fortnight, with the rest being from a home office or at site anywhere in the UK.

You will receive:
  1. Competitive salary and benefits package.
  2. Opportunities for career development and training.
  3. A dynamic, collaborative, and supportive working environment.
  4. The chance to work on exciting and challenging high-voltage projects.
