Job description

CJS Recruitment is seeking experienced Contracts Manager on behalf of our client a Construction firm in Southeast London who specialises in the supply and installation of ceramic wall and floor tiling, natural stone, vanity tops and mosaics.

Due to substantial growth within the Company, a Contracts Manager is required in order to assist the current team on a permanent basis, and play a vital role in the success of upcoming Projects across the Commercial Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of wall and floor tiling contracts across various sites
  • Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and logistics to align with project schedules
  • Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control and maximising profitability
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and maintain quality standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing consistent updates and managing expectations
  • Oversee subcontractors and ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Identify and resolve any issues, delays, or risks promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and client records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or similar role) in stone and tilling, within commercial or fit-out projects
  • Excellent project management, planning, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • SMSTS certification
