Job description

Job Title: Contracts Manager - Working for a Drylining & Plastering Subcontractor

Location: Liverpool

Salary: 45,000 - 60,000 + Package

Role Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in Drylining, Plastering, and SFS systems to join our team.

This role will focus on overseeing and managing projects across the North West, with the majority of work being office-based. On-site presence will be minimal, allowing you to focus on contract oversight, coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Requirements:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred but not always essential).
  • A commercial background is needed
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Excel, MS Project, etc.).
  • CSCS Card (Manager level preferred).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate drylining projects (multiple at once if needed).
  • Liaise with clients, main contractors, and site teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Review and manage contracts, track variations, and handle interim/final account settlements.
  • Monitor progress, workforce, and material delivery in collaboration with site teams.
