Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in civils and groundworks? We are a well-established, forward-thinking contractor based in the North West t of England, seeking a driven and knowledgeable Contracts Manager to oversee a variety of projects across the region.

About Us:

We specialise in delivering high-quality groundworks and civil engineering packages across the commercial, and industrial sectors. With a reputation for reliability, quality, and safety, we work closely with major housebuilders and developers throughout the North West.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple civils and groundworks projects from tender through to final account.

  • Must have experience and be competent to use ASTA / write programs

  • Manage site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to high standards.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships and clear communication.

  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures.

  • Contribute to programming, resourcing, procurement, and financial tracking of each project.

  • Support business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to tender submissions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the civils or groundworks sector.

  • Strong technical knowledge of groundworks, infrastructure, and civil engineering methods.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • SMSTS, CSCS (Managerial), and First Aid preferred.
