Job Role The Contract Manager (Traffic Management Manager) will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow within project sites, contributing to the overall success of construction or event planning activities.

Duties Strategic Planning

• Develop and implement comprehensive traffic management plans in alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate traffic management strategies into overall project planning.
  
  

Regulatory Compliance

• Stay abreast of local, regional, and national traffic regulations and standards.
• Ensure all traffic management activities comply with relevant laws and guidelines.
  
  

Team Leadership

• Manage a team of traffic management professionals, providing guidance and support.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team members' skills and awareness.
  
  

Site Assessments

• Conduct thorough site assessments to determine traffic flow patterns, potential risks, and necessary control measures.
• Develop and implement traffic management plans based on site-specific requirements.
• Traffic Control Implementation:
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of traffic control measures, including signage, road markings, and temporary traffic signals.

• Lantra M6/Street-works Unit 10 Card
• IOSH/NEBOSH (Desireable)

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in traffic management or related field is desirable.
