Job Description

Our client is a leading construction company, specializing in refurbishments across North West London, seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong commercial acumen and experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all commercial aspects of refurbishment projects within the North West London region.
2. Lead, manage, and support the commercial team.
3. Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
4. Ensure accurate and efficient cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
5. Provide financial reports and analysis to senior management.
6. Actively monitor project progress and identify any commercial risks or opportunities.
7. Work closely with project managers to ensure project delivery within budget and on time.
8. Maintain excellent client relationships and ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the construction industry, preferably with refurbishment projects.
2. Strong understanding of construction contracts, costs, and project management processes.
3. Experience in managing multi-million-pound projects.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, degree in Quantity Surveying, or similar).
7. Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
