Sector: Modular Construction – Main Contractor

• Are you an experienced contracts manager with a background in new build works as main contractor?
• Would you be open to a role with UK’s leading permanent modular building contractor?

You will be joining a leading contractor in the modular construction sector. Working as main contractor, you will be delivering new build schemes for education, healthcare, custodial, commercial and retail applications. Experience of managing turnkey construction projects will be essential in supporting this team with their full life cycle project delivery.

This role can be home based, with regular travel to sites around the UK and occasional meetings at Head Offices in the north east.

Covering pre-construction, delivery and completion phases, within this role you can expect to:

• Update programme in-line with post-tender negotiations
• Prepare RAMS and construction phase HSE plans
• Attend pre-start meetings
• Prepare site build sequence
• Maintain progress picture on factory-built elements and align with programme
• Manage variations to programme and price
• Attend regular progress reviews with client
• Arrange pre-handover inspections
• Ensure all records are provided for final accounts
• Ensure PC certificate is singed and returned

We are actively seeking Contracts Manager candidates who:

• Are educated to HNC/D level as a minimum
• Hold Black CSCS Card
• Have strong numeracy and organisational skills
• Up to date knowledge of CDM regs and HSE legislation

The successful Contracts Manager candidate will receive an annual salary of £65,000 + 10% pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, up to 12.5% bonus, 3x death in service cover, 0.45p per mile.
