We are working to recruit a Contract Manager to work within the NHS in Doncaster – mainly remote working.

Salary: £24.00+ per hour

*may be negotiable depending on experience

12 months fixed-term contract

PART TIME - 22.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:
  1. The post holder will be responsible for contract negotiation, management, and oversight, managing the process to deliver against the requirements of a portfolio of contracts with NHS England, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Local Authorities, and other commissioners or providers.
  2. Be responsible for managing the Trust’s processes regarding legally binding contracts, including partnership agreements, service level agreements, and memoranda of understanding for their delegated portfolio.
  3. Provide specialist advice on mitigating and managing risks within contracts entered into by the Trust, minimizing exposure to financial, clinical, reputational, performance, and business risks.
  4. Ensure the production of accurate and timely reports on contracting for internal and external stakeholders, meeting standards and expectations.
  5. Coordinate the contract negotiation process with commissioners and the research team for their delegated portfolio.
  6. Significant experience in a contract management role.
  7. Specialist knowledge of NHS standard contract management and contractual requirements, including the NHS Standard Contract.
  8. Proven experience in producing and presenting reports to various audiences, tailoring communication techniques to ensure understanding.
  9. Experience in drafting, agreeing, and implementing contracts.
