Brief Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a leading Industrial Roofing & Cladding specialist subcontractor. Package: £60k to £70k

About our Client

My client is an industrial roofing & cladding specialist subcontractor working within the refurbishment market. They handle projects up to £1 million in value. Renowned within this sector, they are actively seeking a Planner to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Produce and update weekly progress programmes and site records.
• Inspect works for quality compliance and issue inspection test QA reports to clients.
• Schedule materials and labor, setting tasks to meet short and long-term project targets.
• Forecast and report on task durations, manage sequencing of works, and track changes to the programme.
• Handle internal progress reporting, attend site meetings, and ensure health and safety policy compliance.
• Present safety inductions for new personnel and visitors.
• Monitor and control subcontractor operations and staff to ensure work aligns with specifications and programme.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met by monitoring adherence to method statements and risk assessments.
• Develop coordination between trade contractors through daily meetings with trade supervisors.
• Seek and communicate information from consultant engineers and architects to trade package managers.
• Conduct meetings to plan and meet project targets, resolving construction issues to enhance productivity.
