Are you a Contracts Manager looking for a new exciting challenge?

I am looking for a Contracts Manager who has experience in the Retrofit industry to join a Housing Association in the West Midlands. The Contracts Managers expertise and knowledge will help bring homes from EPC D to EPC C and above by 2030. This role requires a Basic DBS

Contracts Manager duties:

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to collect and record detailed data about the properties condition, energy performance, and suitability for retrofit measures.
  • Ensure projects meet energy efficiency and sustainability targets, including Band C by 2030.
  • Collect and analyse data to identify viable retrofitting measures.
  • Support the leadership team in developing and implementing strategies that enhance energy performance and reduce carbon emission.
  • Prepare contract documentation for the contractor, the partner and handover to the post contract team.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports using industry-standard tools and software, ensuring timely submission to Retrofit Coordinators or project managers

What is required for the role:
  • Relevant Degree, qualification or significant demonstrable work experience in a similar role.
  • Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification.
  • Level 4 Retrofit Assessor certification or willingness to work towards.
  • Excellent understanding of energy efficiency measures and sustainable construction methods.
  • Knowledge of PAS 2035 and other relevant retrofit standards and frameworks.
  • Demonstrable contract management expertise, including budgeting, and contractor performance monitoring.
